ClipCard

Terms of service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms cover your use of ClipCard (clipcard.app), its paid plans and its API. By using ClipCard you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What ClipCard does

ClipCard turns public posts on X and TikTok into images and videos, and downloads the video of a public X post, and the video, sound or slideshow photos of a public TikTok post. It reads only what X and TikTok make public. ClipCard is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. or TikTok.

Your responsibility for content

You choose which posts to render and what you do with the result. Posts, images and videos belong to their authors and other rights holders, not to ClipCard and not to you. You must have the right to use and share what you create, for example through the author's permission, a licence, or an exception such as fair use or fair dealing where it applies to you. You may not use ClipCard to infringe anyone's rights, to harass or impersonate people, to mislead people about who wrote a post, or for anything unlawful.

We may refuse to render any post or account. When a rights holder asks us to, we follow the process on our takedown page.

Files

Rendered files are kept for 24 hours and then deleted. Download what you need within that time. We do not keep copies.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. We may suspend or close accounts, and block network addresses, that break these terms or put the service at risk.

Free use and fair use

The free tier has a daily limit per network address. Pro has a fair-use limit (currently 500 renders a day). Do not try to get around limits, for example with many accounts or automated browsers; use the API instead.

Paid plans and credits

  • Plans are bought ahead for a month or a year through our payment provider, Paystack. They do not renew on their own; nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
  • Buying the plan you already have adds the time to the end of it. Buying a different plan replaces the current one from that day.
  • API plans come with credits. API calls use credits as listed on the pricing page. A job that fails on our side gives its credits back. Credits are not money, cannot be transferred and have no cash value.
  • Because a plan starts as soon as you pay, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or the service was unavailable for a large part of what you paid for. Write to us and we will look at every case.

The API

Keep API keys secret. Rate limits and credit costs are in the API reference. These terms apply to everything you build with the API, including your users' use of it.

Availability and changes

ClipCard depends on X making posts public in the way it does today, which X can change at any time. We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or work for every post. We may change features, limits and prices; price changes never affect time you have already paid for.

No warranty and limits on liability

ClipCard is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for paid plans, we will tell account holders by email before it applies.
