Copyright and takedown requests
Last updated 13 October 2026
ClipCard renders public posts from X, and downloads public TikTok videos, at the request of its users, and deletes every file it makes after 24 hours. If you wrote a post, or own the rights in it, and do not want ClipCard to render it, we will block it.
What we can do
- Block a single post, or every post by an account, so ClipCard refuses to render it from then on.
- Delete at once any files we still hold that were made from it.
- Act against users who keep misusing ClipCard.
We cannot remove copies people have already downloaded, or the post on X or TikTok itself. For those, contact the person sharing it, or the platform.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the subject “Takedown request” and include:
- The link to the post or TikTok video, or the account handle if you want all its posts blocked (say whether it is on X or TikTok).
- Your name and how you are connected to it (the author, the rights holder, or acting for them).
- For copyright: what work is being infringed, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that what you have sent is accurate.
Authors who can show they control the X account (for example by sending the request from the email on it, or by posting a short note we ask for) need nothing more. We aim to act within two working days.
If your content was blocked by mistake
Write to the same address with the details, and we will look at it again.
